WILLOWS SENIORS DRAW WITH BALLYMUN UTD.
Willows F.C. Seniors played their 2nd game of the season today under perfect conditions in Poppintree Park.
The Seniors were hoping to win their 2nd game running ,after last weekends win v Castleltimon United.
Willows started the game in earnest, piling on pressure,forcing two brilliant saves from the Ballymun goalkeeper.
Ballymun United responded in kind ,putting Willows on the backfoot for the rest of the first half.Willows scored a goal from close range,against the run of play ,giving them a 1 nil lead at the half time break.
The scond half continued with each team giving as goood as they got.
Ballymun finally got their much sought after equaliser in the 2nd half.
The game finally ended 1 all in a very competitive game, played out on a perfect day for football in poppintree Park.
